On Neoclassical Schottky Groups
The goal of this paper is to describe a theoretical construction of an infinite collection of non-classical Schottky groups. We first show that there are infinitely many non-classical noded Schottky groups on the boundary of Schottky space, and we show that infinitely many of these are “sufficiently complicated”. We then show that every Schottky group in an appropriately defined relative conica...

We propose a new multifactor model that consists of the market factor and factor mimicking portfolios based on investment and productivity motivated from neoclassical reasoning. The neoclassical three-factor model goes a long way in explaining the average returns across testing portfolios formed on momentum, financial distress, investment, profitability, net stock issues, and valuation ratios. ...
متن کاملNeoclassical Miracles
We study the dynamic behavior of a Neoclassical growth model with finite lifetimes and imperfect altruism in which individuals can accumulate both physical and human capital. We use the model to better understand and explain the behavior of economic miracles. Our results suggest that standard Neoclassical forces can account for the performance of the miracle economies and can explain the protra...

متن کاملOn the Neoclassical Tradition in Labor Economics
In a recent article George Boyer and Robert Smith describe the development of the neoclassical tradition in labor economics. In this paper I reexamine this subject and provide an alternative account of the evolution of thought in the field. I argue Boyer and Smith incorrectly define both the institutional and neoclassical approaches to labor market analysis. The essence of institutional economi...
